Riverside Arts Weekend

May 16-17, 2015

Guthrie Park

Riverside Arts Weekend (RAW) returns to Guthrie Park May 16th and 17th!

Join in this annual weekend celebration with juried art, musical performances, FREEDOM- an outdoor runway and fashion immersion (Sunday at 2:00); a hands-on art adventure – masks as Wearable Sculpture at the Riverside Art Center‘s tent; food and drink, and more. There is also a walking tour of the Village at 11:00 on Sunday sponsored by the Olmsted Society ($15).

Have you seen the amazing Coyote Convention installation along Longcommon and Riverside Roads in the Central Business District? Our installation is a collaborative effort by artists with and without formal training in Riverside. We coexist with coyotes – in our art and our environment. Did you know Riverside is the first community in the nation to partner with the Human Society of the United States on the creation of a Humane Coyote Management Plan? The Coyote Convention was made possible by a generous donation from Steve Campbell.
