What a wonderful workday April 12, 2025 was. We partnered with Riverside-Brookfield High School for RB PTO Community Service Day. 189 students helped in three areas of Riverside – Patriot’s Park, Guthrie Park and Indian Gardens. At Patriot’s Park and Guthrie Park, students put mulch around trees and in the beds. At Indian Gardens and Patriot’s Park buckthorn was removed. Mike Collins, Village Forester, drove several truck loads of buckthorn from Indian Gardens to Public Works. Students picked up several bags of trash at the parks. Thanks to the Village Forester, RB PTO and the RB Superintendent for organizing this event and for getting so many students to help our community.
