TRIBUTES & TREES PROGRAM
Enhancing the Landscape of the National Historic Landmark Village of Riverside
The “Tributes & Trees” Program allows you to recognize people you care about, whether it be to memorialize those who have passed, acknowledge Holidays, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, births, graduations, or other special occasions, or as a way to say thanks. Your donation will be used to enhance the landscape of our National Historic Landmark through plantings (trees, shrubs, grasses, sedges or perennials), protecting and maintaining established plants, providing for restoration services, controlled burns, or whatever is necessary to beautify the landscape of our National Historic Landmark. FLOS Landscape Co-Chairs and Riverside’s Village Forester will determine the needs of the Village and use funds raised accordingly.
To make your online Tributes & Trees donation via PayPal, credit card or debit card, please fill out the form below where you are able to insert the name of the person you are honoring, followed by a place to write your sentiment (“Happy Birthday” or “Congratulations” etc.), your name as Donor (unless you prefer to be anonymous), and the name, home address, and email address of who you would like us to notify of your donation. Email and home addresses will be used solely for administrative purposes and will not be shared. You can enter a donation in any amount you choose.
Donors and Recipients’ names will appear on the FLOS Newsletter and Facebook unless anonymity is preferred. We hope you will join us in preserving one of our National Historic Landmark’s most valuable assets, our beautiful landscape.

Should you wish to have a tree planted to recognize someone special, please work directly with Riverside’s Village Forester, Mike Collins via email, mcollins@riverside.il.us
MEMORIAL BENCH
If you are interested in a memorial park bench, please visit the Village of Riverside website, riverside.il.us and search for Park Benches. The website will provide the Village’s policy and application form.

If both an email and home address are entered, the notification will be sent via email to save paper (and trees).
Honorees (or Family of an Honoree) will receive an email confirmation, and will be recognized on our Facebook page, and Newsletter, unless anonymity is preferred. Should you wish to remain anonymous, leave the “From” field blank. If you have any questions, please email: tributes@olmstedsociety.org
