Hop Stop Horns

Riverside Foods, in conjunction with the Olmsted Society are once again collaborating to bring you the 2023 Hop Stop craft beer festival. This year, Hop Stop makes a return to the Riverside Train Station and Guthrie Park.

We will be sampling offerings from local craft brewers and food will be available for purchase. Live performances are planned throughout the event. Food available from Beach Avenue Barbecue and Carey Corn. Activities will be on deck for children in a wonderful outdoor family-friendly setting in the arboretum Village of Riverside.

Musical entertainment is sponsored by our partners at Goose Island. This year’s event will kick off with the Hop Stop Quartet, an assembly of 4 talented artists from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Stage performances from local bands Hollyy and Tobacco City will keep you rockin’ all afternoon! Make use of the free bicycle valet, bring a designated driver, or take Metra – which drops you off right at the venue. Event space will open at 2:30pm. A commemorative tasting glass is provided with each ticket sold, and this will be a zero-waste event. 100% of the proceeds from Hop Stop go to the Olmsted Society to help foster a sustainable future in our community and celebrate the legacy of Frederick Law Olmsted.
