Riverside Road – August 29, 2009
On Saturday, August 29, 2009 a large group of adults and children worked with Riverside Forester, Michael Collins to remove buckthorn, grape ivy and other invasive species from the walkway along Riverside Road . Fifteen adults and about 10 children spent the morning also clearing the sidewalk of built up dirt. Michael Collins gave the children a short lesson about the purple box hanging on a tree in the parkway. The box is used to attract emerald ash borer.
