The weather was perfect on Saturday, April 27th, to plant 13 trees at Scottswood Common. We had 14 volunteers dig, plant and mulch trees that were grown from acorns from pre-settlement Oak trees. Seven years ago, our Forester, Michael Collins collected the acorns from Scottswood Common and along Bloomingbank Road. The acorns have been growing at Possibility Place Nursery. for the last seven years. Our grandchildren and beyond will be able to enjoy these trees for many years to come.
